Traffic, Traffic and more Traffic

I am…sitting in traffic

Not a fun place to be. So here is my story. I have a 20 minute drive and take city streets because evening traffic on the freeway tends to be a lot of stop and go. I left 30 minutes before doors open at destination and 45 minutes later I was half way to my destination. One mile into drive and I hear on the radio that there was an accident on the freeway and even though it had been removed traffic was still not moving smoothly. A little farther along while sitting at a stop light I see traffic in front of me is not moving. This is probably due to drivers jump off the freeway in hopes of moving. These extra cars clog up the city streets. I did not have a way of telling anyone that I was not going to be on time because my cell phone was in the trunk of my car. When I realized I wouldn’t be able to attend class I turned around and drove home.  I really wanted to attend class as I wasn’t able to drive over the weekend due to my defrosted system not functioning.
